Outside broadcast vehicle services framework agreement 2024-2026 (2027-2028) / lot 1 Large size OB vehicle services and lot 2 Mid size OB vehicle services

The Finnish Broadcasting Company (hereinafter also referred to as "Yle") carried out tender competition for outside broadcast vehicle services in accordance with the invitation to tender and its annexes. THE OBJECT OF THE PROCUREMENT One of the cornerstones of Yle’s tv-operations are productions, which are made with outside broadcasting vehicles (later also OB vehicles). Yle owns some OB vehicles but they don’t always cover all the needs due to the high volume of concurrent productions. Therefore, Yle needs to procure OB vehicles as a service from suppliers that are capable of tight collaboration with Yle. Objective of this procurement is to find flexible and precisely allocated services for Yle’s variable OB vehicle production needs. The procurement is divided into two (2) lots: ● Lot 1, Large size OB vehicle services ● Lot 2, Mid size OB vehicle services As this framework agreement was separated into two (2) lots, the tenderer had the opportunity to participate in both lots or only one of the two, if they wished so. The volumes and values indicated in the call for tenders are estimates and are not binding to Yle during the contract period. CONTRACT PERIOD The contract period is two (2) year-long contract period. Yle reserves the right for two (2) one (1) year option periods (2+1+1). The framework agreement shall enter into force upon signature by parties. The maximum value of the framework agreement from both lots together is € 2 800 000,00 (VAT 0%), taking into account also the option periods.

Yle selects the suppliers on the lot basis of the call for tenders to the framework agreement.
