The goal is to find a solution where the media and the associated metadata can be better utilized in the production, publishing and archiving processes. The idea is to avoid unnecessary copying of data. Yle strives for a cost-effective way to store media in such a way that it can be used both in cloud services and in the company's own storage solutions.
