Department of Geosciences and Geography of the University of Helsinki invites tenders for a ICP-MSMS. The instrument should meet the following requirements: Elements m/Z: - 7-238 AMU, first ionization energy <11eV Analyses: - Concentration and isotope analysis from solutions - Trace Si, S and P from natural waters and extractions - Speciation analyses LC-ICP-MS Matrices to be analysed: - Surface and ground water - Soil, bottom sediment - Rock material - Vegetation - Clinical tissue and urin samples - As, Se and I speciations with LC-ICP-MS Reagents to be analyzed: - Trace elements from surface and ground water HNO3, HNO3-HCl - Partial soluble analyses from solid samples HNO3, HNO3-HCl - Total analyses from solid samples HNO3-HCl-HF-H3BO3 - Weak extractions from solid samples for example CH3COOH4 - Base solutions for example NH4OH, NaOH The tender must contain a technical description of the ICP-MSMS and its accessories, including an explicit specification of the requirements above. The tender will be rejected as non-compliant if the ICP-MSMS does not meet all the requirements above.
