This request for information is not a call for tenders or a contract notice and the publication of the notice will not launch a call for tenders. If the acquisition of a contract by the City of Helsinki will take place, it will proceed as an innovation partnership or negotiation procedure. Project brief The City of Helsinki is planning a new theme park where even young children can immerse themselves in the world of computers - without a machine, playing and doing things. The planned area is located in the western centre of Helsinki, about 2 km from the main railway station. The site is located between Ruoholahti and Jätkäsaari districts. Ruoholahti Playground is part of Ruoholahti Park, which extends along the Ruoholahti Canal and to its south and north. The playground is located on the south bank of the canal and is about 7,500 m² in size. Ruoholahti Playground dates back to the 1990s and is in need of renovation. The planning of the park has already begun. The designers are Linda Liukas from Hello Ruby Oy and landscape architect Tiina Perälä from Näkymä Oy. The goal is to create a computer-themed playground. The highlight of the playground is to be a bespoke play equipment designed for the theme: an adventure playtower in the shape of a computer, a carousel in the shape of a screen, a playhouse, a gazebo and three custom spring rockers. In addition, conventional play equipment and furniture are planned for the park, but they will be adapted into the thematic whole. The chosen project supplier will be a part of ideating, planning and building a bespoke computer themed play equipment. This unique play equipment will be designed together with the rest of the project team during 2022-2023. The design team includes City of Helsinki and the designers Linda Liukas and landscape architect company Näkymä Oy. The primary target group for the play equipment are school aged children. Market dialogue The City of Helsinki will hold a virtual presentation of the project via Teams for interested companies. The Market dialogue will take place March 3rd at 9:30 AM. Erän kuvaus

The market dialogue does not bind the City of Helsinki to launch the tendering process. The market dialogue does not bind the participating suppliers to submit a bid, nor does the non-participation in the market dialogue affect the potential participation in the invitation to tender. There is no compensation for participating in the market dialogue for suppliers attending. Suppliers attending to the market dialogue session are asked to comment on the following point during the meetings: Commercial points: - The preliminary schedule of the project will be presented at the event. Comments on the preliminary schedule and how doable it is - Project phasing and fees to be paid; how the planned phasing - planning and implementation separately - will affect the time points and percentages of payment of fees - How to ensure budget adherence but achieve what is desired? How can the cost and budjeting be targeted so that the most influential elements can be implemented? - What terms and guarantees should we use?
