Design to Cost 6,15 M€, Hawk Mk66 simulator

Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command (hereinafter referred to as “FDFLOGCOM”) wants to clarify questions that concern the Product (Design to Cost, the maximum price for the refurbished simulator is 6,15 M €) and to get information about pricing. FDFLOGCOM objective is to gather exhaustively information concerning the refurbished simulator so that the possible tender can be implemented as appropriately as possible. The refurbished flight simulator should allow realistic environment for type and conversion training as well as tactical training in all mission types. The simulator shall consist of high-fidelity replica cockpit. Simulator should accurately represent Finnish Air Force Hawk's flight characteristics as well as it should accurately represent FINAF Hawk flight control loads and feel. The connectivity of FINAF simulations to simulations of the other services is expected to increase. FDF offers the Supplier a decommissioned legacy Hawk Mk51 simulator cockpit (as GFE) for a total refurbishment and modification to a Hawk Mk66 Full Mission Simulator (FMS) simulator.
