DPS Medical Products

The City of Espoo invites requests to participate in the dynamic purchasing system (hereinafter also referred to as “DPS”) for purchasing medical products either in larger single batches or through a long-term delivery contract. The purchases shall be specifically targeted to the needs arising from the COVID-19 pandemic but also to other needs. All candidates meeting the suitability requirements shall be admitted to the dynamic purchasing system. The actual purchases shall be carried out through competitive tendering within the dynamic purchasing system, describing and specifying the subject of purchase and the contractual terms to be complied with.

The dynamic purchasing system covers a variety of medical products. Competitive tendering within the dynamic purchasing system may include one or more product groups. Competitive tenders shall be organised within the dynamic purchasing system for the supply of CE marked medical products complying with the MDD and MDR regulations or other requirements stipulated by the current legislation, including different protective gowns and aprons, surgical and respiratory masks, gloves and visors as well as needles, syringes, disinfectants and other such supplies. The estimated value of the procurement is approximately €4,000,000. The City of Espoo is not committed to certain procurement amounts.
