Generator for Finnish Embassy in New Delhi

Embassy of Finland New Delhi (hereinafter referred to as ”the Customer” or “Contracting Authority”) requests your tenders for supplying one generator (hereinafter referred to as ”the generator") for use for the Customer as detailed in this Invitation to tender and in its Annexes.

1. OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE CONTRACT The purpose of this Invitation to Tender is to request tender for one generator to be purchased for use by the Customer on “Turnkey basis”. The generator will be used to provide electricity for the needs of the Customer. The Customer selects one (1) supplier and concludes a contract with that supplier. 2. CONTRACT PERIOD The contract period starts from the signing of the contract and stays in force until all the obligations are fulfilled. 3. CONTRACT AWARD PROCEDURE Price of the offer may not exceed 1,00,00,000 INR (without GST). Exceeding offers will not be considered. In the event that none of the tenders received meet the requirements of the Invitation to tender as intended by the Customer, or in the event that the conditions during the competitive bidding process change so that the Customer will be unable to make use of the results of the bidding, the Customer may wholly or partially interrupt the procurement procedure. No compensation will be payable to tenderers for preparing a tender, presenting it or otherwise taking part in the procedure. Should the tenderer wish to obtain the tender documents in another language, they shall themselves arrange for their translation and bear the costs thus incurred. 4. CONTACTS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DURING THE COMPETITION Tenderer must visit on-site the Embassy of Finland in New Delhi, India, in order to the tenderer's tender to be considered. 5. PROCESSING OF TENDERS The contract award procedure will progress in the following steps: a) Opening the tenders. b) Evaluation of the suitability of the tenderers. c) Verifying that the tenders and the services tendered fulfill the requirements of the Invitation to tender. d) Comparison of tenders that fulfill the requirements of the Invitation to Tender. e) Contract award decision and notification. f) Concluding the Contracts. This can only take place by signing the Contract.
