SOTEVIRTUAALIKIRJASTO TENDER FOR WEB BASED TECHNICAL SOLUTION

The purpose of this tender is to find vendor to supply and implement web based technical solutions for the customers of SOTEVirtuaalikirjasto.SOTEVirtuaalikirjasto is the official procurement unit for scientific resources in 14 Wellbeing Services Counties. SOTEVirtuaalikirjasto acts like a consortium.

Web-Scale Discovery service, including E-Publication Finder and Link Resolver for SOTEVirtuaalikirjasto. The product supports possibility to limit and find each consortium member's own resources. Federated searching can be an additional feature. After the tender process, tender requester decides which product(s) to choose. The procurement also includes technical support for these products as well implementation of the solutions and submitting Subscriber’s e-resources to the systems.The purpose of this procurement is that the web-based technical solutions will be available to 14 Wellbeing Services Counties through the Virtuaalikirjasto Helli.There are a total of approximately 10,000 potential users in the counties. The aim is to provide the portal to the customers of SOTEVirtuaalikirjasto managed by the Subscriber.The portal will be available on the open network and allow access to each organisations’ own resources. Authorized users have access to the licensed material on the portal by using remote access. Number of licensed titles is totally around 10 000 e-journals and 15 000 e-books.
