Study on tackling the biodiversity impacts of EU consumption of soft commodities

The Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra (also "Sitra" or "Contracting Entity") has launched its team Nature and the Economy. A key goal for the team is to help halt global biodiversity loss through EU policy instruments. For this purpose, Sitra seeks to commission a study about a possible consumption-focused EU policy response consisting of resource targets for the commodities that are covered by the EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation), with a quantitative assessment of how large a share of future global biodiversity loss the policy response could help avoid. Sitra requests tenderers to provide a tender for producing a Study on the aforementioned objective according to this Call for Tenders and especially Annex 1 Description of the procurement. The Contracting Entity selects one (1) supplier and concludes a contract with that supplier (goal August 2023). The supplier may also be a consortium or a group of tenderers. The contract period starts from signing the contract and is valid until the Study has been delivered and accepted by Sitra.
