Finland's regional administrative agencies are planning to purchase a software to monitor and analyze drivers' driving and rest times. The software must be able to extract data from the tachograph and provide a file that allows data to be transferred to central databases in accordance with EU legislation. The regional administrative offices are looking for off-the-shelf software. The procurement also includes a reader for reading tachograph data directly from the tachograph and a reader for reading driver cards directly from the driver card.

Please note that this is a prior information notice ("hereafter notice") and not call for tenders. The information provided in this notice is preliminary and is subject to change during preparation. Answering or not answering to this request for information shall not preclude participation in a possible tender competition that is planned to start in October 2023. This notice does not bind the Finland's regional administrative agencies to start the tender competition. Suppliers interested in this upcoming procurement are requested to provide their contact details no later than June 27, 2023 by filling in the contact information on the attached form: https://forms.office.com/e/PLJmh9NxP9 The intention of Finland's regional administrative agencies is to send draft versions of call for tenders and its appendices to interested tenderers in June-September 2023. Interested tenderers are given the opportunity to comment on the draft material in writing. If announced separately, company-specific remote meetings may be arranged during June-September 2023.
