Video broadcast modulators for satellite transmission

The object of the procurement is video broadcasting modulators that are described in detail in this invitation to tender and its appendices.

The main goal of this procurement is to purchase modulators that are developed special for broadcasting a digital video signal over the satellite. This type of modulator supports the DVB-S/S2/S2X, NS3 and NS4 standards. The procurement is specified in the invitation to tender and its appendices. The purchased equipment must be compatible with the requirements set in the appendix 2. One supplier will be chosen as a contracting party as a result of this bidding competition. Yle shall place an order of 6 video broadcasting modulators as soon as the contract is signed. During the contract period Yle shall order equipment based on its needs. The number of ordered equipment as well as the specifications related to the equipment shall be confirmed during the contract period.
