THIS NOTICE IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY, NOT AN INVITATION TO TENDER The request for information is part of the market engagement which is used in the preparation of the “Enhanced counterparty due diligence” procurement by Veikkaus. The purpose of the Request For Information (RFI) is to allow tenderers to submit feedback on the object of procurement, statement of requirements, preliminary pricing schedule and to supply their standard terms and conditions for Veikkaus consideration so that the planned procurement can be carried out as appropriately as possible. Answering the request for information is not a prerequisite for participating in the procurement and does not affect the bidder's position in the actual procurement. The facts presented in the request for information are preliminary and may change as the procurement preparation progresses. This request for information does not bind Veikkaus or the companies that responded to it. Veikkaus is aiming to issue a restricted procurement using the negotiation method shortly after receiving and analyzing the feedback from the RFI so that it can source a solution/service to conduct various counterparty enhanced due diligence checks (KYC, AML, PEP, Sanctions, Financial and Supplier). The purpose of the procurement project is to acquire a partner or partners of a platform solution capable of being integrated to Veikkaus customer databases and enterprise systems to conduct the counterparty due diligence. The procurement procedure is estimated to start mid-May 2023. A procurement announcement will be published about the procurement, which will start the procurement procedure. The purpose of the request for information is to survey companies on the market and their interest and readiness to participate in the procurement. The procurement process will be conducted through a negotiation procedure, to acknowledge that the needs of the purchasing entity may not be met with out-of-the-box solutions already on the market, i.e., the procurement may involve some development of the object of procurement during the negotiation. The negotiation method is suitable for procurement when the goods or services targeted by the procurement unit cannot be filled with solutions already on the market as defined in chapters 33-37§ of the Procurement Act. Interested companies are requested to issue an email to: hankinnat@veikkaus.fi no later than 21.04.2023, 23:59 (EET) to request copies of the following documents for review and feedback: • Annex 01 – Object of the Procurement • Annex 02 – Statement of Requirements • Annex 03 – Preliminary Pricing Schedule • Annex 04 – Veikkaus Security Requirements • Annex 05 – Veikkaus Data Processing Agreement Veikkaus may interact further with the companies who have requested to see the documents by issuing direct additional questions to them during this request for information / market engagement phase. Veikkaus also reserves the right to decline to send the documentation if it deems the information request to come from a company that is not supplying the types of services or solutions that are the object of this RFI. Veikkaus may conduct additional checks on the company prior to issuing the documentation for review.
