Heat Pump Plant of FGC system (natural refrigerant based)

Pori Energia Oy (“Pori Energia“ or “PorE”) is a limited company owned by the city of Pori that produces and offers energy and energy services. Pori Energia owns and operates the Aittaluoto power plant. The Aittaluoto power plant is located in the Aittaluoto industrial area (Kuninkaanlahdentie 14, Pori). The plant produces electricity, steam for the needs of industry in the area, and heat for the district heating network. Pori Energia is planning to increase the flue gas heat recovery capacity with a heat pump plant in the Aittaluoto power plant. The heat pump will be connected with the current 20 MWth flue gas condenser of the boiler. This supply consists of the heat pump plant with the necessary auxiliary equipment.

The Supply consisting of the full process delivery of equivalent amount of units ( 1 to 2 ) for producing heat at load range 9 MWth to 12 MWth at temperature of 70°C water to water heat pumps (evaporator in/out: 42…49 degC / 30…35 degC, condenser in/out: 53…58 degC / 65…70 degC). Heat pump units should containing the all necessary auxiliary equipment with piping instrumentation, electrification and cabling (cabling from terminal boxes to control panel) of full operating plant excluding the main pipe work and the civil works, commissioned and the test run completed and ready for commercial operation on the Client's site. All necessary dimensions, load and process information for designing the civil constructions and foundations is included in the Supply. Each of the heat-pump units are to be installed on a steel base frame provided with motor, compressor and heat exchangers (evaporator, condenser, aux. cooling) etc. to form a complete heat pump unit. The system shall be designed to minimize loss of refrigerant. Welded fittings are in preference to flanged connections wherever possible. The process delivery of the plant with auxiliary systems shall include at least but not limited to the following equipment, their installation, commissioning and testing: - Heat pump units with complete connections with all necessary materials (bolts, nuts etc.) and works of fixings, erections and installations (assembly of unit, painting and thermal insulation) - Refrigerant system with all needed auxiliary equipment and piping - Lube oil system, when needed, for required lubrication, with all needed auxiliary equipment - Cooling water system, when needed, with all needed auxiliary equipment and piping - All pipe work of the unit inside the delivery limits - Complete protection system for heat pump - Control, indication and measurement equipment with instrumentation and supervision system with all necessary functions, auxiliaries and accessories - Motor line equipment including necessary cubicles and terminal boxes with all necessary auxiliaries and accessories - Protective line side surge arresters and capacitors with all necessary auxiliaries and accessories - All cabling inside the scope of supply of the Supplier’s equipment - Complete design of the process, design documents, instructions etc. in the scope of supply are included in the delivery as per described in document submittal schedule - Spare parts according to Supplier’s recommendation and maintenance schedules of manufacturer for operation of two years (+ 5 years option) to be listed with unit prices with the tender by the Supplier - All necessary special tools needed for installation, erection, maintenance etc. of equipment and systems shall be included in the delivery, separate list shall be submitted with the tender by the Supplier - Factory tests and site tests of supplied equipment, separate list of tests shall be submitted with the tender by the Supplier - Commissioning and test run - Process design (option for whole plant automation) - Training of Client's operating and maintenance staff - Maintenance contract (2 + 5 years option) according to manufacturer’s maintenance schedule. Maintenance schedule shall be presented in detail.
