Web-based Bibliometric Analytical Solution

The intent of this procurement is to acquire a web-based analytical solution with graphical interface. The analytical solution enables the analysis of scientific publications, citation impact of publications, publication collaboration, societal impact of research and research funded by the Academy of Finland. Publications, citation impact, publication collaboration and societal impact can be analysed according to researchers, organizations, countries, research fields, research funders, and research topics or themes. Solution has a publication and citation data source with at least 50 million scientific publications at least from 2000 until current year, with annual updates and curation of data. It includes user guidelines defining all the available indicators and explaining the key features. It also includes a possibility to present results in a visual format and to download results for further use. Limited extracts produced with the analytical solution may be used for internal purposes at the Academy of Finland (the procurement unit) and to inform Finnish science policy making, in accordance with procurement unit’s legal role as an expert in developing science policy. These extracts refer to tables and graphs which describe scientific publishing, citation impact, collaboration or societal impact of Finnish research. The procurement unit shall use relevant copyright acknowledgements in the material obtained if demanded by the Supplier. The procurement unit will select one (1) service provider.
