Finavia – Identity Proofing and Strong Authentication

Finavia is purchasing identity proofing and strong authentication SaaS solution for identifying and authenticating it's business to business (B2B) users digitally. These users represent airlines, ground handling companies, airport service providers, IT service providers and authorities. Main part of the users are Finnish or European citizens. Altogether the group includes over 60 nationalities. At the moment, there are approximately 5.000 B2B users that have an active digital identity at Finavia. Altogether, the potential amount of B2B users is about 10.000. Finavia's primary need is to integrate identity proofing to identity registration page. At first, only identifying the users at onboarding stage is needed. Finavia has decided to not take other functionalities of the IDM self-service portal in use at this stage. Identity proofing is repeated every 5 years when the security clearance is renewed. However, the SaaS solution has to cover even strong authentication. Primary use cases are described in this document. Other eventual use cases are considered as options for further procurement and cannot yet be described in detail. The approximated implementation period is January-February 2023.

Primary procurement object is a SaaS service for digital identity proofing and the integration of the Saas Service into Finavia's identity registration page. Description and requirements for the solution are described in more detail in the tender documentation which is available against signed NDU. Agreement enters into force after both Contracting Parties have signed the Agreement and it and remains valid until terminated by Client or Supplier with written notice as specified in the Agreement
