Finnish Food Authority in Helsinki Finland is purchasing a pipetting robot for preparation of at least 24 WGS libraries. The object of the acquisition is a pipetting robot with high pipetting accuracy that can be used for the preparation of sequencing libraries, especially with existing and verified protocols for Illumina's DNA Prep (formerly Nextera flex) and Nextera XT library preparation kits. The produced libraries must be of high-quality, contamination free and reproducible. The methods also include various intensive pipetting steps and reagents of different viscosity are used. The usage of the software should be easy for the end-user. The object of the acquisition includes also a four-year (4) annual maintenance contract, which includes a two-year (2) warranty period. In addition, the object of the acquisition includes a fault repair service.

Requirement number 9 (“The pipetting tools must be calibrated in a certified Service laboratory according to ISO 8655) has been removed from the minimum requirements. In the General criteria/information section has been added following requirement: "The tenderer shall include information about the calibration and whether the calibration is based on ISO standard or other standard." The contracting entity has exchanged the updated draft contract (NEW 29092022 Draft Contract Pipetting Robot) for a call for tender. Changes/additions have been made in red color.
