Setup for electrophysiological measurements

Tampere University Foundation sr (Tampere University, TAU) is inviting tenders for combined setup of electrophysiological experiments enabling separate fast calcium imaging (CA) and patch clamp (PC) measurements, and combinatorial measurements of CA, PC, and microelectrode arrays - according to this call for tenders and its attachments.

Procurement consists of one complete unit which can be used for fast fluorescence imaging and patch clamping recordings, and importantly, these methods can be combined and performed simultaneously, together or combined with microelectrode array measurements. Typically, cell types measured with this unit are human cardiac cells, human neuronal cells, retinal pigment epithelial cells and cells transiently expressing different ion channels. Cell format is typically in vitro 2D culture. Unit is purchased for electrophysiological core facility thus having multiple users. As core facility unit, annual maintenance service is required from the provider.
