Automated liquid handling work station for the Helsinki Institute of Life Science.

The instrument should meet the following specifications: • The system must be delivered and installed by the end of May 2023. • Automated liquid handling work station with 96- and 384- channel pipetting heads (can be interchangeable, but without need for tools) • Wide dispensing volume range, 96 format 0.5-250 µl and 384 format 0.5-60 µl • Deck with 12 or more (≥) positions • Pipetting with various labware types, especially 96, 384 and 1536 formats • Possibility for single tip, single row or single column loading of tips (if adapter needed, automated loading for the adapter) • Pipetting to at least four 1536 plates simultaneously, an actuator mechanism and adapters for fixing the plate position should be included • Possibility to discard used tips to a waste container • Flexible pipetting options, user-defined definitions and control for pipetting positions • Small footprint (max 75x75x75 cm) • Software controlled, graphical user interface and allows walk-away automation • Software has to enable easy adjustment of pipetting dimensions inside the labware, use of loops and variables in programming • Device and software should enable possible integration to automated platform (HighRes Biosolutions) • User training at time of installation is included in the tender. At least 1 full day of training for selected core facility users and one full day of in depth user training for core facility staff. Full specifications of the instrument and its modules (incl. optional ones) should be provided. Also tip pricing should be included.
