MARKET SURVEY: Ultrasound equipment – veterinary purpose

Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) is planning to purchase an ultrasound device for bovine veterinary purpose. The ultrasound equipment should provide measuring capability for bovine reproduction, joint diagnostics and beef carcass measurements. The device software should include loin muscle intramuscular fat measurement capability. The ultrasound device should have different probe attachability possibilities eg. linear endorectal, convex joint and linear carcass merit. The device should have the ability to save images and transfer data. The device and the probes should be easily disinfected. The equipment should be portable and robust enough for bovine practice use.

This prior information notice is a preliminary notice (market survey). This notice does not ask for offers or participation applications, but with this prior information notice Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) surveys the market and potential suppliers for the supply of bovine management and surveillance system for confined environment, so that a possible call for tenders can be carried out in an appropriate manner. The market survey is accompanied by an invitation to a market dialogue, where the procurement entity can have a discussion with the Suppliers that have expressed their interest. Luke will later open a call for tenders to purchase a bovine management and surveillance system. The Suppliers interested in this procurement are asked to send their contact information (person's name and e-mail address) by e-mail to the following address: hankintatuki@luke.fi and a copy to the address: kirjaamo@luke.fi and write in the title field: "1310/02 10 01 03/2024 Market survey of a bovine management and surveillance system". The Suppliers interested in procurement are asked to register with Luke preferably by 16:00 (EET) on April 24, 2024, registrations made after this will be taken into account at the discretion of the procurement entity. The goal is to organize a market dialogue. Companies that have expressed their interest are invited to a market dialogue, where they are sent questions related to the procurement by email and/or invited to a meeting (Teams) with the purpose of discussing the content and implementation of the purchase. Luke also reserves the right to send the suppliers who participated in the market consultation a call for tenders with attachments for comments before it is published. The presented schedules and other information presented in this notice, such as the planned course of the market dialogue, are preliminary information that may change as the preparation progresses. This market consultation and the information provided in it do not bind or obligate the parties to anything, and do not oblige the procurement entity to make a purchase. All information provided is treated as confidential. Participants of the market survey are not compensated for participating in the market dialogue, nor for the costs incurred by participating. Participating in the market survey shall not prevent the supplier from participating in the actual tender, and responding to the market survey does not affect the supplier's position in the actual tender.
