Tampere University is extending its RF laboratorio's capabilities towards enabling sub-THz measurements. We treat the transmission chain as a linear and transparent signal path, operated well below compression point. Focus is on channel- and beam-induced effects on sub-THz link performance rather than on absolute radiated power, PA efficiency, or hardware optimization. Therefore, the conversion stages including the mixer and PA should operate as linearly as possible so that the measured performance is dominated by propagation and beam effects. University will appreciate modular transmission chain components and compact size (easily mountable and movable). Main objectives: 1- Wideband channel sounding 2- Single-carrier and OFDM transmission 3- High-order modulation experiments 4- MIMO measurements This system will become part of the Tampere Wireless Research Center infrastructure and extend the capabilities of the WICO (Wireless Comm) research environment. * * * * PRICING Max 175 000 € (excl.
