HUS is the biggest health care provider in Finland and responsible for organizing specialized healthcare in the Uusimaa region. The aim of this request for information is to find out possible parties on the market, who can provide certified urine pregnancy tests (sensitivity 1000 mIU/ml) for point-of-care -testing in the Uusimaa region. This is not a call for tenders and we are not asking for any offers via this announcement. This prior information notice does not obligate the procurement unit for any actions. All information presented in this prior information notice is preliminary and indicative. This notice is not binding on any kind of solutions or actions. The suppliers are not paid for responding to this request for information. A procurement notice and an invitation to tender may be published later. Procurement unit asks the parties on the market to response to this request for information, if the party can provide certified urine pregnancy tests (sensitivity 1000 mlU/ml). Also, we kindly ask to provide following details about the test in the market: - Does the test measure the level of intact hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin)? - What is the specificity of method? - The principle of the method - lateral-flow, immunochromatography, dip-stick, something else? - What antibodies does the method use, monoclonal? - Method sensitivity, cut-off? - Hook-effect? - Sample form – urine? - The result is qualitative, semiquantitative, quantitative? - CE/IVDR marking of the method: validity period? - Suitable for patient self-testing?
