Components, supplies and instrumentation for photonics research

The object of the procurement are components, supplies and instrumentation for photonics research (later also “Supplies” or “Products”). The object of the procurement and the requirements relating to the procurement object are specified in more detail in Annex 1 of this invitation to tender.

The objective of this tender process is to find professional suppliers that can guarantee a high standard of quality for the supply of optomechanical components. The objective is to find no more than three (3) suppliers from among the tenderers that can guarantee a high standard of quality and who is capable of providing the components, supplies and instrumentation for photonics research in its entirety. VTT will make framework agreements with the selected suppliers. The contract period is three (3) years. After the fixed three (3) year period, VTT reserves an option to extend the contract with one (1) optional year. The objective is to get the agreements into force latest in March 2025. The estimated total value of the procurement for the contract period is about 600 000 – 800 000 euros. The maximum value of the procurement is 900 000 eur.
