PRIOR INFORMATION NOTICE: Antibacterial and antimycobacterial products for systemic use

Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare, later referred to as THL or Customer, is about to publish a call for tenders for antibacterial and antimycobacterial products for systemic use. The date of publication of the call for tenders is planned for October 2024. The scope of procurement is described in more detail in Annex 1. The procurement will be divided in twelve (12) lots. Each product constitutes a separate lot. Tender may be submitted for one or several lots. - LOT 1: Moxifloxacin 400 mg / 250 ml (250 ml, i.v. solution, ATC J01MA14) - LOT 2: Linezolid 2 mg/ml (300 ml, i.v. solution, ATC J01XX08) - LOT 3: Linezolid 600 mg (tablet/capsule, oral, ATC J01XX08) - LOT 4: Pyrazinamide 500 mg (tablet/capsule, oral, ATC J04AK01) - LOT 5: Etambuthol 500 mg (tablet/capsule, oral, ATC J04AK02) - LOT 6: Clindamycin 300 mg (tablet/capsule, oral, ATC J01FF01) - LOT 7: Isoniazide 300 mg (tablet/capsule, oral, ATC J04AC01) - LOT 8: Claritromycin 250 mg (tablet/capsule, oral, ATC J01FA09) - LOT 9: Clindamycin 15 mg/ml (80 ml, oral suspension, ATC J01FF01) - LOT 10: Moxifloxacin 400 mg (tablet/capsule, oral, ATC J01MA14) - LOT 11: Levofloxacin 500 mg (tablet/capsule, oral, ATC J01MA12) - LOT 12: Claritromycin oral suspension 50 mg/ml (50 ml, oral suspension ATC J01FA09) The minimum requirements for the products is described in Annex 1.1. The contract will be awarded to one supplier for each lot based on a comparison of tenders. Estimated quantity for the products is described in Annex 1.2 (restricted to security classification level IV, TL IV). In addition to the estimated quantity indicated in the Annex 1.2, the Customer is entitled to purchase 100 % extra to the estimated quantities (later referred as "Option"). The supplier is not obliged to deliver the products under the Option. THL reserves the right to change the scope of the procurement and the minimum requirements in the published call for tenders.

The availability for the Annex 1.2 is restricted to security classification level IV (TL IV). THL will send the Annex 1.2 to a representative of the tenderer via encrypted e-mail after THL has received a scanned version of the signed confidentiality commitment (Annex 2). The signature of the confidentiality commitment shall be done manually by hand. Confidentiality commitment shall be signed by a legal representative of tenderer. Confidentiality commitment shall be sent to the e-mail address kirjaamo@thl.fi with the subject line: "CONFIDENTIALITY COMMITMENT - THL/5372/2.02.06/2024 / Antibacterial and antimycobacterial products for systemic use". The message shall contain name of the tenderer and e-mail address to which the Annex 1.2 is to be sent.
