In this tendering, the tendered materials are grouped in the following purchase groups:
Group 1: Low Voltage (LV) underground cables
Group 2: Medium Voltage (MV) underground cables
Group 3: High Voltage (HV) underground cables
More detailed description will be shared in the RFQ phase.
Erien kuvaukset
Erä 1: Group 1: Low Voltage (LV) underground cables
Group 1: Low Voltage (LV) underground cables.
1 kV four-core cables, XLPE-insulated, with PE outer sheath (e.g. AXMK). Cross sections 25, 50, 95, 150, 240 and 300 mm2.
The operating temperature range of the cables shall be from - 40 degrees Celsius to + 40 degrees Celsius. Technical lifetime of the cables shall be longer than 40 years.
Estimated volume per year:
2025: 970 km
2026: 1400 km
2027: 1630 km
2028: 1880 km
2029: 2210 km
No volume commitment from Caruna side.

Group 2: Medium Voltage (MV) underground cables.
20 kV cables with aluminium conductors and PE sheath, laid-up around a bare earth conductor (e.g. AHXAMK-W). Cross sections 50, 95, 150 and 240 mm2.

Single core 110 kV cables, rated voltage U0/U: 64/110 kV. Highest Operating Voltage under normal conditions Um: 123 kV. Metallic screen construction Cu wires and Al foil.
Temperature range: from -40 degrees Celsius to +40 degrees Celsius.
Cable size and material:
- 1x1600 mm2 Al
- 1x2000 mm2 Al
- 1x2500 mm2 Al
- 1x2000 mm2 Cu
Estimated total volume during the contact period: 100 km.
No volume commitment from Caruna side.
