Crane Trucks (Prior information notice)

Helsinki Metropolitan Area of Transport is preparing procurement of two Crane Trucks for the inspection and maintenance work of overhead lines (Tram). One of the lift truck vehicles must be able to operate and perform high-quality maintenance work both with rubber wheels in the street area and with rail wheels on the rails. Another lift truck vehicle can be operated with rubber wheels in the street area (no need for rail wheel equipment). Please note that Helsinki Rail Gauge is 1000 mm.

This RfI does not bind the Contracting Entity to make any procurement based on this request. Participation to this RfI does not in any way bind any party in a potential future Call for Tenders. Suppliers who refrain from participating in this RfI are equally allowed to participate to potential future Call for Tenders. The Contracting Entity may arrange a technical dialogue which will be conducted grounding on this RfI. This document is not a procurement announcement, not an Invitation to Tender, nor will its publication start a Tender Procurement Process. This document serves as a Prior Information Notice. The Contracting Entity may request comments or other input regarding the procurement from those who answer to the RfI. Moreover, the Contracting Entity reserves the right to invite or not to invite suppliers for further meetings regarding this RfI. The Contracting Entity will not pay any expenses related to this Prior Information Notice or other efforts regarding this procurement.
